El País: Field Recording

How did the world sound before cars and planes existed? What is the pure sound of a place? Are some sound landscapes becoming extinct? All of these questions are answered in our upcoming mini documentary for El País, Spain's leading newspaper. We followed a devoted field recordist to the mountains where we discovered fascinating underwater sound landscapes, hi tech microphones and we even got chased by a Roe Deer at six in the morning. There is so much than our ears can't hear!
